Putting some indication on the steemit picture that it's a video is already ready. In next patch as well.
About erasing videos, you can technically remove the link to the IPFS video in the 'Advanced' part of the edit (within the first 7 days). But that's a rule of the STEEM blockchain. Anything that gets an upvote, can't be deleted I believe. Hidden is doable but I don't think it would hide on steemit.com so I'd rather not 'lie' about the feature. Also people would still be able to find the hash of the ipfs video through the blockchain history. Sadly all data put in here is immutable, meaning we cannot delete it.
Not being able to delete videos could pose a big problem in some cases and make the platform subject to 3rd party lawsuits. I document live bands and always get permission to publish, but I know from a documentary film maker that even a Car driving by with an open window and the Radio blasting could lead to a copyright conflict in some jurisdictions if the broadcast can be heard in the video. Glad I stumbled into this comment; food for thought. I like DTube, even if the conversion from 4K to 480p is a lot more work as it requires a 2 step process; I'll keep using it. Greetings!

Anyway, I am glad that you add the decline payout and an indication that the picture is actually a video with the next patch.
But what about posting to DTube only (to add videos from youtube without spamming the blog?) Is that possible? I really want to add all my videos from Youtube to DTube without annoying my Followers.
I like your list and would like to make an addition to it. I noticed that when sharing a video uploaded to DTube on another platform like Facebook, Tumblr or Wordpress, there is no thumbnail displayed, only the URL or a blank space with DTube written in black print. To many people it will again not be obvious that it is a link to a video unless we tell them. Greetings.
That needs to be fixed.
