Just starting out here myself. Based on what it looks like so far, I might as well post on Dtube since the monetary result will be the same and ideologically and ethically I hate youtube. Unless you are posting the types of videos popular with teenagers on youtube and will not be considered in any way "controversial" it seems the new youtube is impossible to make any money. If people like Pewdiepie are now begging for donations on Patreon a underground documentary filmmaker like myself has no chance on youtube.
