Sharing Creative Processes - King Erik (Arrangment Idea for Big Band)

Good morning Dears!

Bom dia queridxs!

Taking advantage of the idea of previous counterpoint with some modifications, and the small changes made, today was the day to imagine an arrangement for big band formation. Here is the first part of the song "King Erik". In the video it is possible to see a little of what is coming but I did not let the audio run because the arrangement has not been worked yet. The expectation is to make some "orchestration" changes in the second part. I am not sure yet what these will be but I have ideas in mind.

Aproveitando a ideia de contraponto anterior com algumas modificações, e as pequenas mudanças realizadas, hoje foi o dia de idealizar um arranjo para a formação de big band. Aqui esta a primeira parte da música "King Erik". No vídeo é possível ver um pouco do que esta para vir contudo não deixei o audio correr pois o arranjo ainda não foi trabalhado. A expectativa é fazer algumas mudanças de "orquestração" na segunda parte. Não sei ao certo ainda quais serão estas mas tenho ideias em mente.

The sheet music editor used was Sibelius, but this midi-format audio is awful and not the actual sound of the instruments used, so in time I hope to upgrade the virtual instrument machine to at least slightly improve the overall sound. The plan is to get kontact and enjoy its virtual library that has pre-recorded real instruments. It's not ideal yet but it's a breakthrough since I don't have a jazz orchestra available to perform my arrangements.

O editor de partituras usado foi o Sibelius, bem este áudio em formato midi é horroroso e não da a sonoridade real dos instrumentos utilizados, com o tempo espero fazer o upgrade da maquina de instrumentos virtuais para ao menos melhorar um pouco a sonoridade geral. O plano é obter o kontact e aproveitar sua biblioteca virtual que tem instrumentos reais pré gravados. Ainda não é o ideal mas ja é um avanço visto que não tenho uma orquestra de jazz a disposição para executar meus arranjos.
