RE: Our New Husky Puppy's First Game Together with Us!

in #dtube5 years ago

That's exactly how my two dogs play fetch.

Human throws the ball.
Dogs go get the ball.
Dogs lay down and chew the ball
Shortly, ball is destroyed.

Dogs wonder when the next ball is going to be thrown.

If there are two balls, only one ball is important. In 7 years I don't recall ever seeing them both simultaneously chewing on different balls. There is one "important" ball that they both need to argue about who gets to chew it. Once that ball has been destroyed, then they will move on to the next "important" ball together.

For this reason, I usually throw sticks from the forest. The Sticks are free and can be destroyed without costing me more money. :-)

Hello @gikitiki, thanks for sharing your experience with the dog play. Your two dogs must be really playful too. Luckily for me that the "KONG" tennis ball is quite durable and not broken yet, lol.

Give Sky a couple more months and he'll be ripping through the KONG's like a warm knife through butter.
