Question Questions from the OLD new guy :)
Hi everyone. My name is Greg and I am new to Steem. I am learning how to set up my D Tube channel and will be transferring all my videos from YouTube to here.
It will also take me a while to get some STEEM because I have to buy some BTC on my coinbase account so I can then go buy some Steem... and Coin Base is SO SLOW...
so that brings me up to a couple questions.
#1 Can I change my Channel Name?
#2 Can I upload artwork to this blog and then use this URL to put it on my D Tube header as well as my Steem header?
#3 Am I allowed to use affiliate links in the description of the videos?
#4 TAGS if I have a tag Like metal Detecting and Treasure Hunting. Should I use each word separately and burn up 4 tags? or should I type all 4 words together and use it as one tag?
How do I know when the video is uploaded? It says upload. It plays the whole video then it up loads, then it goes to a second screen with 5 or six lines/boxes on it. the first box starts turning green, then about 3/4 of the way to the end it jut stops moving... do I need to leave it running for an hour or so or did it just DIE???
Sorry for all the questions but some of the provided info is a little confusing to me .

Go experiment, and then write up a how to and earn lots of Steem doing so, every question is a potential opportunity
currently tags, you can only change the 2nd tag onwards, the 1st tag is fixed, if there are/will be channels in dtube (which I don't use except to view) it might be fixed after 7 days like Steemit
yes, but there are certain rules that changes how things work on different app sites. like on dmania (for meme), if you edit it outside dmania, it no longer works for you
entirely upto you, don't over do it, a crowded look is not streamline for viewers, keep it simple if possible, but hey what do i know....go experiment, the whole Steem blockchain is one big experiment, and you early to get here.

Last tip....upvote alot (agree, support, show gratitude, entertaining, sexy, whatever the excuse you can find) i mean alot while you have only a little Steem, and especially when you are new here, upvote post & replies, and make lots of meaningful comment, don't just be taker, learn to be a giver....and show lots of respect especially being a noob...you're going to goto a low before you goto a high here, and get some Steem under $5 or whatever it was a few days ago, before it goes $20 then $100 in the next 18-24months.
got your questions partly answered first....Now, welcome to Steem Greg! if you're going to do dtube, you're going to be great here.....i foresee vid becoming as big as Steemit or even bigger someday :D
have to by BTC from coin base so i am waiting 3 to 4 business days for them to fill it then I can go buy some stem.. Any ways I doubt I will last long here it I have been trying to change my banner onD tube and upload a video and I just cant get it to work. Which is a bummer because I really like the whole idea of D Tube
be patient, many have struggled just like you and you're figure it out, it will be the best decision you make in the next 5 years
skip bitcoin, buy litecoin, it's faster (speed) and cheaper fees (like $0.05 for 100 Steem), and then transfer it into Steem
coin base is the only place i have my account linked to. Anyways I got the display name to show up in text format...... I did load a picture in the blog but I cant get it on my header or on my Dtube heading... but more importantly i cant upload a video... I have about 150 vids to put up and another 50 or so that I already shot but just haven't
edited yet...
I dont know why it is not working... but maybe some one will explain it to me eventually :) Thanks for the encouragement.
