Good video, lets say steemit disappears tomorrow, could I just log in to one of the other serious-clones, with my password & username or how does it work?

Yep, as long as you have your active key the log in process is the same.. you can actually even use steemconnect to log in on most of them.

Oh, okay thats good to know... I was thinking of joining busy.org or some other older potentially reliable steem-webbased clone, just in case Steemit Inc disappears one day, hope it won't happen but I seen companies, social media etc come and go before...
Not sure who/what to trust I trust the STEEM blockchain but not everyone running a steembased web/app etc...
