On our first day (and sadly ONLY full day) at the Ankobra Beach Resorts (you can check for prices via the link), we got up somewhat early, had breakfast under coconut palm trees - before taking a long walk to the City of Axim along the Gold Coast Beach. It was HOT but luckily we could easily cool off by walking into the Atlantic Ocean.

We walked through an Axim residential area before we arrived at the Axim Castle - yet another slave trade castle along the Ghanian Coast.

We're going to write more about the Ankobra Beach Resort, Axim Town and the Axim Castle very soon on our Ghana Travel Blog

    It is a pity the weather was cloudy. I guess it would be even more attractive, in particular, the water around those two islands. Nothing wrong with the very good job you did with the drone.
