Gofio Mill of Las Mercedes - The Food Of Indigenous People Of Tenerife
Learning about food is one of the reasons why love traveling and we're learning a lot while being on Tenerife, well we're eating a lot. The food here in general is incredible. But we did learn about a new kind of food, GOFIO. It's a super finely milled flour, a left over of the Guanches - the Indigenous People Of Tenerife. It's been hailed as a superfood and you can find similar flours like this in some North African countries. We're soon going to write about the benefits of it but in this video we're sharing with you a visit to our local Gofio Mill in Las Mercedes.
