Vlog #120: 9GAG on the Steem blockchain with Dmania.lol and Zappl Beta coming out today!
I try to keep up with most development on the Steem blockchain but this one (I think) I missed completely.
It's called Dmania.lol and it's basically 9GAG (memes) on the Steem blockchain.
I'm a big fan of 9GAG so to see a competitor rise up using the Steem blockchain makes me very happy.
Also a big day for ZAPPL today. The public BETA will go live today.
Just a note (as my friend @s3rg3 found out yesterday when he made a post on Dmania), If you post anything on Dmania or Zappl it will also be displayed on your steemit blog. So keep that in mind.

It is so great to see all the developments going on nowadays on the blockchain! And yes, I tried dmania but you definatly need to keep in mind that whenever you have put a lot of effort into a nice blog and minutes after posting create a dmania (or other newcomer for that matter) post, your main post (with a lot of effort) will go down in everyones feed.
@exyle STEEMIT just keeps getting better and better. "Build it and they will Come".

Hi @exyle, I heard Steemit management is working on a lots of updates and the final version would have lot more for us all. Do you have any update in this regard?

I see. There should have been some official notification/update in this regard so that would not be several speculations in this regard. I hope all this gets back to normal.
Memes are really popular and Dmania could bring a lot of new people to the steem blockchain. If they do it right of course

Wow I just discovered about dmania thanks to you. I have always been an avid fan of 9GAG but since it stopped working for my phone (connection not found), I hardly use em now.
Will take a look at dmania, looks like a great platform. An app would be great though.
Oh that's a shame that Zappl posts to your Steemit blog. I'd like to make a different Steemit account if it does, as Zappl is short text kinda like twitter is that right? I would want it seperate to my Steemit account. Does Zappl earn you steem? Excited that they are going live though. I need to learn more I have questions lol. About to watch your vlog!
If you get upvoted Zappl will earn you STEEM. I think they are toying with the idea of an SMT in the future. But I'm not 100% sure. Would be a nice use case for one though.
nice post my friend, well i think you got cold, take a proper sleep my friend and also drink soup with black pepper, it's great thing to tackle with cold and i really like dmania.lol looks so cool and it deal with memes perfectly, it's also an great induction to steemit blockchain and you are right i also see many peoples complaining about steemit.com downtime but i think there is always a room for improvement in any technology and i hope the steemit team will overcome these flaws soon, it's also nice to see zappl beta comes out today and these developments surely gives steemit more heights, stay happy and have a fantastic week ahead my friend, thanks for sharing
