Voltaire
I call this riff Voltaire just because it reminds me of The Mars Volta. It's actually going to be on my band's full length album which is nearly complete now. The song this appears in is called "El Topo." It's about a guy that trips on mescaline in the Mojave Desert and somehow ends up in the Gobi Desert when he comes to. The name of the song is inspired by the legendary filmmaker Alejandro Jodowrowsky's film of the same name. The song and the film have basically nothing in common but they both take place in the desert so why not haha.
I also put in some complimentary Nicholas Cage to go with the tail end of the video. It's from the 90s film Kiss of Death.
