Topic Description: Yarn count is a numerical value which indicates fineness or coarseness of any soft material. In another word we can say it as linear density or Yarn numbering.
According to Textile Instituke (UK), A number indicating the mass per unit length or the length per unit mass of a yarn. First one is basically direct system of yarn count, where second one is indirect system that is length per unit mass.
