Vimm and Dlive - Social Experiment ( We need steemians with a lot of Steem Power)
Today on Dlive Pewdiepie will be streaming and gring more people to Dlive.
What if people who have a lot of SP give delegate it for example 5 days to Vimm and we will see how many people will start streaming.
That will be great social experiment but i don't know who will agree that

Problem is I cannot do it from strictly mobile, if it was as simple as Periscope or going live on YouTube I would be all over it!
First off I want to use my iPhone 6s while out and about, I want to go live while in the real world thinking of doing live Steem Promotions speaking to people like a reporter would. From what I have been told it’s not possible.
Secondly the OBS software is overly complicated for a simple point and click user like myself and crashes my home computer the few times I have tried to use it.
If we want adoption meeting the needs of the users is a must! I have spoken with many that would love to go live with mobile from anywhere they would like when they have only cellular service... current easiest solution is Periscope/Twitter Live using @share2steem

OBS does tend to be a bit of a resource hog. If you don't have a beefy PC, I can see how it would crash. I personally use Xsplit because I find it easier to wrap my brain around. Might be worth buying a subscription for Xsplit Broadcaster if you like it.
There is an OBS app for Android and iOS devices. You'd be able to stream from your phone with that! We want to integrate mobile apps, but we're working on building a solid foundation for the website before we branch out further.
Do you not the mobile apps require linking to the PC though?

Alright, it looks like StreamLabs OBS will work for what you're intending. You will need to set up Vimm as the output point, but it should function exactly like you would on the PC. Admittedly, I have not used this application, but this is what I'm seeing as available to use on your mobile device.
Awesome thank you for doing that research for me. I have downloaded it and it does look like it will do the trick, I did not come across this app when I was trying to figure it out before.
I will let you know how it goes once I get a chance to look at it a little closer ❤️

Nice idea but here are the problems with that idea . First after the 5 days the Rc and Voting Power of vimm will be so low that 3 or 4 days vimm will not be able to do mutch(because everyone is canceling their delegation) Second problem after the 5 days most of the people will not stream anymore on vimm because money is gone.
My last Problem is because i dont know it what will happen with the payout after 5 days will it decrease also or will it stay on the high. If it stays on the High then ok if not ☹.
Vimm needs more permanent Delegation.
Vimm needs away to attract also viewer (@helpie-caster is working on something for that with the viewertoken)
So if you want to support Vimm please tell your friends and Fans about it ,(also outside the chain)support the Fundition Campain of Vimm and delegate for a long time .

This would be a great idea. @emsonic your idea is obviously great but hes right. Vimm is a great platform, but no viewers kill me. I don't get me wrong it's not really about the up votes I want people to watch comment play. Lolol. Maybe we need a campaign to get awareness out

I'm inclined to agree on this. While a 5 day delegation would be awesome, we really need long term delegations from people who truly believe in the platform. I would rather see 1000 people delegate 10SP for years on end than one person delegate 100,000SP for just a few days.
Also, streamers already on Vimm have another way they can help: increase the beneficiary. Vimm takes a 12% beneficiary reward by default. This helps us pay for our servers. In the settings page, there's a little slider where you can increase this amount. If you're feeling generous, raise your beneficiary. I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is and raise mine to 20%, right now. BRB, I'll have a screenshot in a little bit.

This is a great idea .
I never did live streams when Dlive was with us and still only do videos not live streams now.
I will have a look at Vimm and see if I can do a live stream.

yeah RESTEEM is the easy way but in this post im noit sure about it...
I love VIMM and im always talking on the diffrent Radio services of STEEM, and hell yeah its need a change but this post im not sure if its really is a push to vimm or more a grabbed chance of a Dude to be seen...

If you mean that. Answer is no. It's frustrating little that dlive "escaped" from steemit and they are grow up (i don't tell this is wrong, this is good) and on steemit is so low streaming community

Yeah its frustrating, but DLIVE is gone more than 6 month, so where are you people in this 6 month when other did a lot to promote VIMM to help VIMM... a lot of PEEPS taking this situation with PEWDIEPIE now but hell... You want to help maybe drop more than only 30 sp to em that could be a nice first step, you think a UPGRADE of your 30 SP dont help, and will say yes it helps much more than 50 others only do it for 5 days... and get to grab the roi of vimm by doin it...
You want a game changer then join the active groups around VIMM inside Steemit
You see there loads of ways to change a thing, yeah a post is nice to use PEWDIEPIE but at the end nothing will change because we dont reach the big ones, you can shout for em, but they wont look...
You are able to change the System by doin itz not to moan and shout for others they should do so....
I will delegate more but why ? When I delegelate a 500 for example (I don't have that ) this will not change anything because it is to low. That's why I write to people who have more SP
And I told "for example for 5 days " this delegation but if people will delegate for more it will be great
If people will delegate even of 25 SP of person and many people that will be great

Just to be clear, delegating to vimm has a ROI. Every month the curation rewards are split between all delegators depending on the size of their delegation. This is calculated on a daily basis. So delegating for 5 days will give you something at the start of the next month.
For delegating 856 SP to vimm I get almost 3.5 SP back
Not the highest ROI but if you have some SP standing idle or you use VIMM yourself it is cool to make something on the side
This is calculated starting from a 25SP delegation so everyone can chip in :)
It might been interesting to see but do you try VIMM yourself first and what is you experience with the dapp?
Who knows, maybe that will happen, let see, I wtitted about it. Really a great idea !
