50/50 Rewards System will Drive Away Content Creators, Maybe to MEOS?| How's this Good for Creators Besides the Assumption of More Curation Efforts?
This is my own personal opinion. You can agree to disagree or take it with grain of salt. Truth is, I have yet to come to a reasonable debate highlighting how this could be good for me as a content creator. The assumption that more whales or large stake holder might actually start to curate more or do manual curation is not enough selling point for me. What if they don't? I am screwed as a content creator! The thing is, curators have the option to create and earn more, but content creators don't have the option to hold more stake. Some of us haven't the means to buy more stake so we earn it. Reducing that opportunity to earn stake faster is not so desirable. The other thing is, we hardly have enough creators right now, do we really want to chase away the few that we have left? Over 1M accounts and under 50k active users. If we don't play our cards right to make this place favorable for content creators we may see a huge chunk of them leave, maybe to MEOS? Who knows,time will tell.

The conversation is still on going, but it's like Steemit Inc is in support of this ideology according to a blog posts they put out a few days ago. Just basically tabling the conversation in the community before any decision is made.

Yep time will tell, but there is two roads split ahead, one will heading MEOS and the other heading to bigger fork, a creation of steem classic.
Options ☝️ Though I've never seen tech revert back to original form? 2.0 version 1.9.2 etc but classic 😂 get the steem degrade

Steemit continues with the wrong decisions, the same with the downvote reward pool..
They can't think from the view of the creators or the users.
And they don't even ask us..
Hope give new projects like 3Speak, it will have much success, I'm sure.
