If I Successfully Learn German, I Think I Can Do Anything! German is F*****G Haaarrdd|| What's the Hardest Language to Learn for YOU?
I find myself very compelled to learn German lately. Mainly because I made a new German friend, having picked my interest,it's only courteous to learn their culture. But to be honest German makes absolutely no sense right now. Why does it have to be so hard? Being looking into so Apps and Goggle translate, and even then, doesn't seem to help much. What's the hardest language yoy had to learn or would have to learn?

Oh hunny..... I agree... I don't think German is an easy language to learn but umm... but I do have an antique book all in german... I believe pre WWII propaganda... but it's all in german!! You can tell me what it says! <3

Ohhhh my dear, yes I know... German is nuts and sometimes there is no explanation why it is like it is. I can imagine it is frustrating to get into it. But yes, your right... it is so much easier for kids. My son for example get’s it super easy even though he grows up here with Spanish and Catalan and at home we speak English to the kids. But the tiny pieces of German he gets talking to my parents and to me he absorbs them like a sponge. It’s crazy how easy it seems for kids. If you have any questions regarding German, just let me know, I’ll do my best helping you on that. I was never much into languages but that changed 180 when I moved to Barcelona and found myself in a non-native environment. Spanish is quite good to understand and I would say it’s even a easy language to learn (even though I am still not fluent). But Catalan, the language here in Barcelona and surroundings is quite hard and complicated. Will need some more years here to get better on that.

My nephew is only 2 and can speak 3 languages so far. It's really what inspired me to this topic.
It's just as impressive as what your kids can do. If I had known better I'd have learnt earlier but I now know better for my future kids :D

I had 2 years of Spanish and 3 years of Japanese in school. I attempted to teach myself both German and Korean, and am currently teaching myself ASL (American Sign Language).
