Bitcoin Maximalism vs. Bitcoin Majoritarianism

"Bitcoin Maximalists," and their adherence to Bitcoin Maximalism, insight anger and disdain from multi-coiners and proponents of an app-token fueled future. Maximalism has garnered a negative connotation, with a lot of people angry at the perceived toxicity of maximalist.

I sometimes wonder if detractors of maximalism are simply upset, or possibly, misguided by their own perverse incentives.

Bitcoin maximalism has roots in the Austrian theory of Economics and monetary history; bitcoin maximalism is better understood as monetary maximalism.

I identify as a Bitcoin Majoritarian. In this video I discuss the difference between Bitcoin Maximalism and Bitcoin Majoritarianism. I give insight into why I lean towards Majoritarianism as opposed to a full subscription to maximalism. I also leave open the possibility that I am incorrect. Possibly, misguided by my own perverse incentives.
