How to Draw a Hedgehog Step by Step By EdgarsArt
The only time i did a drawing of a hedgehog was on video. Before i filmed this, i had no idea how to draw a hedgie. Just could not call it like that. I personally think they are super cute and here where i live, every evening if i go out, i can see them wondering around. They are all over. I dont know how i feel about them being as pets, but i know that in some countries you can keep them. In mine they are not pets and i dont know anyone who would have it. But I always enjoy to watch all sort of videos of them which is why i was inspired to do a drawing of one.
Now of course this was an easy sketch without any special shading, but still i wanted to do the whole body. At first I wanted to draw only the face, but since it was my first time, i thought maybe i would fail and then in the end you would not even recognize the animal :D So i did the whole body+the legs i did in the end just because i had some time and actually
I think the hardest part was the nose. Since i am not really familiar with this type and it does look different a bit compared to any other animal i have drawn. And i actually have been drawing large animals. Dogs, Tigers. Elephants, Horses, Cats. I have never drawn a hamster for example. Which might be my next drawing idea
