The Guppy - Recycled Repurposed Junk Built SPACESHIP from my local vicinity!

Made this SPACESHIP from a variety of recycled and repurposed junk in my local vicinity. My studio backs on to a courtyard with 3 restaurants where I will frequently look for interesting plastic containers for my Sci-fi props and spaceships. I'm building an arsenal of props for some future space adventure videos.

THE GUPPY

Guntham Uziek Corp. originally concepted this craft for the Europa Insurgency, specifically designed for the deployment of recon vehicles capable of both trans-atmospheric space and oceanic missions. Debuting the Poseidon a galactic week before the Insurgency ended, it proved to be surprisingly effective for military and reconnaissance sorties. Not ones to waste an interesting and solid product, GU Corp. continued production of the GUP-201, which is now a trans-atmo vessel used by both the militaries of the Inter System Alliance (re-named “Guppy”-- it’s most popular designation) and the Osvajalec Stellar Conglomerate (re-named the “Sava” by the OSC).

While not widely used in the civilian sector, the Guppy is preferred by many explorers in the adventure markets, as it makes for a most useful landing and interception craft. Recently, Guntham Uziek announced a new version, the GUP-201b, which is supposed to be slightly larger and faster than the GUP-201 and should be available for mass market purchase in the near future. Zvest Industrije also just recently announced they were in the late term development stages of the Tolminka Pet for the OSC, which is remarkably similar to the Guppy/Sava. Currently, three breach of intellectual property suits are pending between Guntham Uziek and Zvest Industrije.
