Well, I had no idea I was rubbing elbows with Betty Crocker's brother! This really is quick and easy! No wonder it is a hit at your house.
I know you love the bottled sauce mostly because it is easier, but, my tip for the day is this. I make a giant pot of sauce with sausage and meatballs when I have a down day, or a day spent at home. Then I take the container and put in enough for a meal and put them in the freezer. I have it all ready for when I am making lasagna or any other pasta dish. Then, it can still be quick and easy! Another quick and easy? I buy the big balls of mozzarellas it is way cheaper and makes the kids shred it the night before. They willing to do it for a little bit of yumminess.
However, for an off the cuff meal, you nailed it.
