It is quite alright to have a love/hate relationship with FaceBook, or any other platform. They all are just tools for us to use as they best fit our needs. Some offer benefits in one area and not others, and vice versa. It is always good to have options. LOL!
Non-free software, especially facebook, can be used by its owners as a tool to control people. This is a serious and very real social issue of our time. Being "only a tool for the users" is merely what facebook pretends to be. Actually, most of what facebook does is going on behind the scenes, like shadow profiling, for example.

I am in the same as you friend, I was addicted to facebook, but since I met steemit I have taken the body, is as you say, here in steemit is more profitable and not anyone can or know how to do this more or less do we, you maybe better than me because I only have a few days, but the challenge is that: learn everything about this community. regards
