Hey friends, I’m trying to keep it real, here. This is me picking banjo along with Hip Hop Hooray by Naughty by Nature. I had a great @DLive stream today, and @ijustarted asked me to be sure to upload this tune for him. So here it is!
What possessed me to play banjo along with hiphop? The great @jimmylin of DLive jokingly requested that I play Gucci Gang on the banjo, which I tried during a different live stream.
And, the banjo isn’t that far off from hip hop. It can swing, it can be percussive. It can be brash or muted. So, listen in, and let me know what you think! Laugh a little, if you feel like it. Or dance!
