Gramophoned - Make your own record
Found this amongst some old gramophone records & wondered what it was. So, of course I had to play it just to find a couple of girls chatting away. My friend saw this record and recognised it was an old record from a public recording booth.
I did a little research to find out that he was correct, it was recorded in a booth some time during the 1960's where you could make your own 3 minute record for 2'6d.

That's a pretty cool thing. Interesting how cultures change and how such a ground breaking idea didn't sustain itself in some way. The photo booths are still in shopping areas but they're nothing like as cool as a recording booth! :D
I wonder if there are any left still working because, I would love to have a go.
