Here is a little video I put together yesterday. I am starting to play around more with video and I thought what better place to upload my experiments that DTube!? While not technically the first video I have ever made, it's pretty close. I made one small video about ten years ago, then another one for a wedding client about five years ago. So I guess this is my third attempt.

Unfortunately you'll probably notice that some of the clips look different than others, and that is because when I started filming my camera was set to 60fps, but then later on I realized and put it down to 24. Personally I've never understood the 50/60p thing, I think it takes all the soul out of the film, it makes it look too sharp and too "real". 50p always reminds me of watching TV back in the 90s, and you knew it was a really crappy show when it had that certain look to it. It was too sharp, the blur of the movement looked weird, it felt real but somehow phony at the same time. I think this came from using cheap cameras, or more likely cheap lenses that couldn't achieve the same depth of field as the more expensive high end lenses. Not sure if this is actually the case but if you know what I'm talking about then feel free to let me know in the comments! Anyhow, I'll be sticking to 24p from now on, unless I want to do some (minor) slow motion stuff.
