5 Things about D.Tube’s new update, 0.6.
Let’s begin with
MORE ENCODING POWER.
Since the daily uploads has grown from around 200 videos to over 1000 videos per day since the last update, D.Tube has been reaching it’s maximum encoding capacity during peak times of the day. So @heimindanger says that to fix this problem, he has invested STEEM into renting 2 more servers, hopefully tripling D.Tube’s power.
The next thing on our list, as I’m sure you have noticed, is the great
NEW LOGO,
with the “D” much more visible than before. They also have this great new Media Kit that includes different versions of the logo for you to use in your video and thumbnail projects, and you even have permission have your own stuff printed up, like T-shirts or mugs.
Moving on to
CONTENT DISCOVERY
Do you feel that your video got buried under all the new videos? Not anymore! With the new content discovery upgrades, you now have infinite scrolling in the Trending, Hot, and New categories. Don’t you love it?! And by the way, you should see what happens when you click on a tag. It’s new.

Thanks for the update! I didn’t know dtube had a daily limit but I guess that’s why one of my videos went to 60 in line. I think it has promise, just a little buggy.

So the alternative to youtube is about to rise. I personally still stick to youtube, where I subscribe for many channels, which probably don't mind demonetization (use Patreon instead, etc.) But first time I will have some more spare time, I will start my DTube account!
