You actually travel quite quickly on that thing. I don't like Pepsi either and have now stopped drinking sugary drinks altogether. You are obviously good at balancing and use this as a mode of transport fairly often.
The machine does have a gyroscope in it which helps balance...but if you have any experience surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding etc the balance and ride comes naturally. If you have never tried these sports then this machine will get your brain ready to do so. I use it often to commute though my town here which is perfect since there are not many cars on the road.
