The Fitness Industry and Blockchain Tech - Interview with Damien King of PUML

I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Damien King, the Founder of PUML - a fitness based app built on the EOS blockchain.

Their goal is to “get more people moving” and are utilizing blockchain technology to improve upon other fitness related apps by allowing users to control their own data. One thing I was excited to see is that they are working hard to allow this app to easily integrate into people’s daily lives. They are working with gym’s to allow for check in points, but they are also integrating with popular fitness wearables like Fitbit and Apple Watch.

They are using blockchain to not only improve upon consumer data - but also to further gamify the fitness tracking industry by allowing people to earn tokens for their fitness goals.
