The Easiest Way to Earn Bitcoin Online

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

Hi Friends!

Many of you may already be using Lolli, or perhaps you've seen the name around the cryptosphere and just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. In this video, I show how completely easy and quick it is to set up so you can start earning Bitcoin for online shopping.

What is Lolli?

Lolli is a browser plugin that allows you to earn bitcoin back on your purchases for over 500 major brands and websites. Check out the impressive list of spots they have already partnered with... and the list only continues to grow.

They are also starting to get mainstream attention and have been featured in publications such as TechCrunch, Business Insider and POP Sugar. In this video I walk through the entire process of setting up an account, installing the plug-in and even making a purchase. It does take about 30-90 days for the bitcoin to show up in your Lolli account - depending on each retailer's own policies. You can see below that each retailer allows for a different level of BTC back. Simply scroll down the list to find your retailer of choice and go straight to the website from Lolli. The browser extension will immediately notify you if you are on an eligible site and the percentage you get back. In this video, I make a purchase on Macy's.com - which will give me a 4.5% return rate.

Why Lolli?

Whether you are new to the world of crypto and just want to dip your toe in the water, or you are a seasoned crypto vet and just want to earn additional bitcoin from your everyday activities - Lolli offers a great solution.

I personally think this is one of the best examples I've seen to help increase the rate of mass adoption. In most cases, if someone wants to buy bitcoin - they have to overcome several hurdles in learning how to purchase through an exchange etc. Lolli offers a fun and easy way for people to start earning their first bits of bitcoin - without going through all the headaches of learning the "ropes".

I also think there is a lot of value to people having some skin in the game. Perhaps they've been hearing more about Bitcoin in the news, but haven't really looked into it yet. Once they actually own a little bit of bitcoin - it will peak their interest significantly more and the likelihood that they will begin to watch the price of bitcoin or get curious about crypto is much greater.

Use My Code and We Each get $10

In the video, you'll see that I sign up using my friend Erin's code. After I make my first qualifying purchase - we'll each get $10! I figured if I was going to sign up for an account anyway, there was no reason not to sign up using someones code.

If you found this video helpful - consider using mine? Like I said... we'll each get $10 so it's a win, win.

In the video - I also show you how easy it is to find your own referral code! Once you sign up and get going with Lolli, you can send out your own to friends, family, and people you meet.

I found Lolli and considered using it a while ago, but from memory, their privacy/tracking terms & conditions scared me off. Looking again, I gather that they need cookies and permissions to track your activity (not just to allow their service to function), which I'm sure has aftermarket value to be sold.

If you need to use their browser extension to use Lolli, I really don't think free crypto is worth the loss of privacy/IP tracking (which can in theory be linked your other BTC addresses when you cash out via an emerging blockchain forensics field -- or just some blockchain analysis). You also can't use browsers that have ad-blocking like the Brave browser, which is more pure in its spirit to align with the values of decentralized cryptocurrency.

"You may turn off collection of Passive Data by the Lolli Browser Extension by uninstalling the Lolli Browser Extension. Use of the information collected by the Lolli Browser Extension is subject to this Agreement and the Privacy Policy."

This is a very nice advertisement, and one can obtain crypto as a slice of this company's referrals (like InboxDollars), but nothing is free. Perhaps you can ask them to verify what consumer data is sold, if any, as that's fairly important to most crypto adopters. I could be assuming here, but that's my hunch since they're not proudly advertising the opposite in the name of crypto.

All good points!! I’m actually meeting with their team later this week and will ask them about some of this stuff.

Did they happen to share some insight on this privacy topic if you got the chance to ask?

Sounds cool! I’ll check it out!
