Day 3 - Affirmation : "5A's to Accelerate Your Life" ⭐️Vlog #17⭐️
Hello Steemians and DTubeNation,
This is Day 3 of the 5-Part Series on the "5A's to Accelerate Your Life". And today's A is Affirmation!!
Where do you get your bout of Affirmation in your Life?
There are 2 Parts to Affirmation.
You see, some of us are just waiting (and relying) on "external reference" affirmation, like "Well done mate", "That's so fantastic, great job", "You can do it", "I believe in you", before we ever begin anything or believe in ourselves.
Perhaps we have been conditioned by the many Social Media platforms (including Steemit), that our content is only as good as the comments or likes (upvotes or resteem) that we receive.
Which means that our Value is aligned with what others think of us. That should not be the case!
Don't get me wrong, it is good to sometimes get "feedback" externally. But what's needed MORE often is a Strong Internal Affirmation (Drive) -- the Push / Believe in Self that comes from within.
Generally, people are more drawn to "Confident People" vs. the opposite. And you don't have to be cocky about it, just be the BEST YOU and bring that genuine, authentic self and Value-Add to Others. We only receive Good Gifts, when it's given with Good Intention, that's human nature.
My videos are by far not great, not even close to the quality I think I want to head, but it doesn't stop me from getting out there and just DO IT!
I'm proud to say that I've now been on DTube, DLive and yesterday DSound (an [acapella short cover](Can't Help Falling in Love (Cover - Short)))
So my message for Day 3 is to begin to AFFIRM yourself, Be the One Who Believes In YOUR OWN Efforts. Try it out and let me know how you go.
