They will co-exist. A project like SteemLeo is best served, in my opinion, by staying on Steem-Engine. NFTs and other features that are on the way could be used by this community.
Many will be best off going the SMT route and being a mirror of STEEM.
@khaleelkazi have mentioned that he will move to SMT or make SMT-peg for LEO to be traded in the external exchanges.
