The first trailer of the film "Bodied" was released today - a satirical drama about a graduate student, which is successful and causes a storm of emotions when his interest in rap battles, as a thesis, turns into a competitive obsession.
The director of the film is Joseph Kahn, who made such films as "Torque" and "Detention", but he is more known for working on music videos for Eminem, 50 Cent, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and other famous artists And groups.
Along with Eminem, the producers of the film are Paul Rosenberg, Adi Shankar and Jill Hardin. The scenario was written by the battling champion Alex "Kid Twist" Larsen.
The film features a lot of real battle rappers, including Dumbfoundead, Dizaster, Hollow Da Don, Charlamagne Tha God and others.
The film will premiere in September this year at the Canadian International Film Festival "TIFF", which is held annually in Toronto from September 7 to 17. "Bodied" will open the section "Midnight Madness".
