I agree! I am one that has been holding points! I like to measure my progress in anything I do and I think my points are a great metric for engagement so I hold them to see where I can get to. When the conversion value becomes interesting, I will use them for an upvote. Nothing wrong with a little competitive spirit as long as it is not abused.

I made the suggestion to Partiko to remove the leaderboard feature and put it private for the user.
A genuine comment towards posts will be a good foundation for the community. It is important that we try and be ourselves here and not try to out smart the system
