Up Your DTube Game | Lighting Basics
If you really want to up your DTube game, they you need to always consider lighting. You don't have to spend anything at all if you take advantage of the natural light you can find. In this video, I talk about how to setup your natural lighting and if you do want to purchase some lighting, how you don't have to spend a fortune to get a decent setup. My focus is definitely portable and affordable, so hope this is helpful!

Hey! I have that same bigger light! It came bundled with my wife's 5D Mark III. I haven't had a chance to use it much, but after hearing you talk about it, I feel like I should at least try it out. We try really hard to take pictures and videos in daylight, but I know it won't always work out like that. Now I need a light stand! haha
It's a great light really and nice to have if you just don't quite have enough light. Much better IMHO than trying to push my camera.
Good lighting really is key. Even my old camera filmed pretty good in the right light.
We're re-doing one of our bedrooms so I have an official office. I think I will get much better use of the lights I have in that space. :)
It's true that the best of cameras can't make up for bad lighting. Can't wait to see some videos of your new space!

Yes lighting can really make a huge difference, and if nothing else, perhaps it will just spark some interest in people thinking about it a bit. Being aware of it is the first key.
