The Ending Support for Internet Censorship Act Will Not Actually End Internet Censorship
Senator Josh Hawley has introduced a bill which would amend the Communications Decency Act. There are some content creators that are claiming it’s doing so would end censorship online. With the title of it being, the Ending Support for Internet Censorship Act, along with what the Senator’s website states, this is understandable. But I am here to tell all of you that it will not put an end to the censorship. Not even remotely.
I have read the bill and it’s contents are alarming for legislation that is supposed to put an end to Silicon Valley censorship.
