Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer we are taking a load of steers to auction and talking about making a Living on the farm. Farming full time is not easy and can be very frustrating but it is a lifestyle that I love and would not change it.

We have never dealt with selling livestock at market. We either raise and butcher them ourselves and sell the meat or raise and have someone else butcher so we can sell the meat. One day we hope to have enough land cleared to raise cows and try the market thing. Thanks for sharing!

I always had mixed emotions on selling the cattle we raised since birth also. Hey what did those sell for?
They brought what the market was which was not very good. $1.30 a lb
