2 or 3 minutes max. I don't have time for more. Unless you have put together something entertaining and revelatory!!!

Thanks @riverflows, 3 min, max, definitely seems to be the consensus sweet spot.
Peace.

If you can give me something in less than 3 minutes, would be ideal
Less than 2 minutes would be the bomb

I come from a radio background, where we are told over and over again, to KISS
Keep it short and simple
People don't have the time and their attention span is short
Now, I feel the radio concept works here simply because we put on many hats. Creator, Consumer, Curator and that makes time precious.

Great question @bobaphet :D

Yes it seems that 3 min is definitely the max, from majority consensus here.
Interestingly enough, that seems to be the average length of time for short porno clips too :P haha
Peace.

Not sure about the short porno clips
But just generally
Not that I haven’t watched longer videos but they are few and far in between

Around 2 minutes for basic stuff. Indepth stuff as long as is needed.

Thanks man, what would you call basic stuff? and what kind of subject matter would keep your attention for 20-30 min?
Peace.

Basic stuff like news updates etc and longer times things like doco's and new technology also some how to do things.

Bob in all honestly I don't care much for the 20 minute videos of anyone on D tube. Just too much time to watch. Iam saying right about 3 minutes. And I said this to myself before I even saw the consensus of others saying the same thing

Thanks @robertandrew. The question has been asked, and the answer received :)
Peace.

Under 4 minutes @bobaphet. And last week got to meet some people who hit the big vote button that said the same... hint hint...

That's a perfect question !!
For me, I prefer something along the lines of 1-3 minutes. Anything more gets too boring unless it's something that's for laughter and fun.

It's like doing a presentation, the first minute is crucial to get the point across. After that, we would have lost the attention & interest of the participant.

Thanks @ireenchew, it seems that the majority is in agreement with you here. 3 minutes looks like the max for the information age consumer.
Peace.

Up to 10 minutes maximum. Depends on the content. Likes feeling unsatisfied and waiting for the next video.

Thanks for asking great question!!

"The Ultimate luxury is TIME"

Shorter is better, ideally 1-3 mins!

Good to have variety of video length for different kind of content types.

From a consumer standpoint, I would like to have options!

Just find this on the net, why Twitter is so Successful.

"Simplicity
Twitter’s genesis sprung from the idea of serving as a status update tool, and at its most basic level, that’s what it still is. Although its usage has evolved well beyond the “What are you doing?” premise, Twitter’s simplicity makes answering the status question a common first activity for newcomers.

Short and Sweet
Although Twitter limits messages to a meager 140 characters, many would argue that this seemingly strict limitation is one of Twitter’s greatest strengths. Limited length means that every word counts. In an Internet age of information overload, most Twitter users relish in the brevity. Writing pithy yet informative tweets that convey the full value of your meaning is a skill.

Low Barriers to Entry
Twitter makes it easy to join"

now Twitter is 280 characters @nathanmars but still it is a micro blogging experience. I believe time is valuable for everyone, since it's the real only currency everyone has. Probably longer videos would work for weekends, while shorter videos would work better for busy days like during the week.

It's just my opinion though. To keep my attention on a 5+ minute video takes a lot of interest or very good editing / storytelling
