That's what we humans do. We always find a way to celebrate and share happiness no matter what.
I think, with time, everything starts changing, either evolving or devolving. But it still pays homage to the reason of celebration. Although, celebrating Valentine's may have changed with time, it is still a day to celebrate love; and love is forever the same.
