Income Source Review #3 - YouTube & Dtube
Keeping viewers attention, interest, and keeping them engaged with anything has value because you have influence on what these people think and actions they take. Keep that in mind always as you move forward. If you can create any kind of following online, you can create an income from that.
YouTube
The current bigger opportunity as of this moment would be YouTube over Dtube based on the audience volume. There are 2 main opportunities to capitalize on YouTube.
Ad Revenue
The most common way to create income on YT is by getting views on your videos and monetizing them through the platform. Also, you can reach out to businesses that may want advertisements on your videos based on your audience base. This will be negotiated with yourself and the business. The more viewers, the more people will pay for advertisements.
Monetize Your Fan Base
A less approached way to profit on your engagement online that I believe could be much more influential on the fiance side, is through the sales directed at your viewers. I've come across several creators on YT that have less than 75k subscribers that produce over $100,000/year income from those viewers. They know there niche market, what the viewers are interested in and what they want. You already add value to them by the topics you discuss and now can add more value by helping them with the product or services they need. A perfect opportunity to open a business and start producing what is needed in your own community.
I think that it's truly amazing how you can make something of yourself with a lot less then what people think they need. Think big but don't let the current smaller numbers hold you back.
Dtube
Down the road I believe Dtube will be the better opportunity because most people will start to move to a decentralized network. It could be slow now, as in rewards and profits, but it could end up being much more beneficial then YouTube because now you can be creating your base and footprint. Same opportunities apply for Dtube, your just not controlled by the platform. 🤠
