Average people dont appreciate privacy unless you put it in terms they can understand. These big ideas just remind them of times in school when they just tuned out. The CIA has given them a new tuning out device called the conspiracy theory bin. When a challenging thought is presented, they just pop it into the bin instead of looking away from their phone. Clever activists will go down to base privacy needed activities like having sex, passing excrement, or masterbation. The idea of a government official observing one do this and have the ability to use this to humiliate or intimidate you can trigger anxiety. That would get their attention. At the time this spreads, a new financial incentive will be released to break this "taboo". People will get credits to have sex, pass excrement, and masterbate publicly on the book of faces (feces). After a few years of this credit earning challenge destroys the taboo factor, the privacy issue will be forgoten forever. This is for all of humanity's marbles. What is lost now will never be replaced without major conflict.
