Happy New Year! And welcome to HALF HOUR SONGWRITE CHALLENGE! 💛

Today's prompt comes from @kaelci, who entered it in yesterday's Pick-a-Prompt contest. Congratulations @kaelci and Happy New Year! 5 SBI coming your way :)

This was a cryptic prompt, challenging and also a lot of fun. Due to the time limit, I wasn't able to get as far as I'd have liked... I'm not at all happy with the melody for "An alien sky/And that's why", which was the last lyric added. But then again, that's the point of these Half Hour Songwrites, to come up with juicy little songbits that may or may not show promise, not with finished pieces. Who knows, maybe I'll tweak this one in an upcoming episode of TWEEKZ!

HALF HOUR SONGWRITE CHALLENGE is an ongoing daily Dtube vlog.
