Audible Objects Frequanatron
This is a test render from an upcoming sonic sci-fi animation project I've been working on.
This scene features a mythical instrument we created called the Frequanatron, it's a hybrid synthesizer/drum machine that opens portals to new dimensions. It's made of Onyx, Black Tourmaline, Ruby and a few elements that are not found on this planet or dimension. I'm doing most of the 3d modeling, sound design, and music for this project, with the help of a few friends helping with backgrounds, and vocal acting. I'll share more test renders from this project as it develops.

Awesome sounds, and you do animation as well! We'll have to talk, Ive been wanting to make some short looped animations myself to run through my LZX system, just havent sat down to learn a new program in a while, its always a daunting task.
Yep I do animation, I use Cinema4D and After Effects mostly. I really dig the LZX modules, but
I've been holding off on going down that rabbit hole. I think I want a small Buchla system first.
I haven't used either of those, but hear great things about cinema 4d, I should look into that more. Used to make stuff on flash, and played around with Maya a bit many years ago. I hear you on going down the rabbit hole. When I originally got into modular, it was with Serge because I liked the idea of a full rack opposed to buying individual modules.. though theres pluses and minuses to that obviously. LZX is what initially got me into Euro, I have a few rows of audio modules but ended up parting ways with most, now only have one row, mostly because I love the elements, but I really hate the 3.5" cables, opposed to the bananas. My only experience with a BUchla was having a 208r, which was deep, interesting, and seemed kind of quirky. I love the stuff Allessandro Cortini and Morton Sobotnik do on them, but find a lot of other buchla noodles I hear to be lacking in ....something. The 222e has always interested me though...someday....so much interesting equipment ha
I just saw Morton Subotnick perform this week in LA. He did a live version of Silver Apples for the LP's 50th anniversary. I was going to start with Serge when I first got into euro around 8 years ago, but the waiting list was long at the time and I found euro worked out great for me because I wanted to make a frankensynth out of all my favorite things I love about Buchla, Serge, and some other auditory flavors only found in euro to create a sonic signature with my compositions. i'm really looking forward to exploring the world of video synthesis.
Oh wow that much have been a great show! Video synthesis is indeed fun, but as you said, its another rabbit hole. Trying hard to focus on saving money myself, and not picking up the LZX Vidiot!
