What I love most about being friends with the Beserkers is the accountability. Even on days where we're feeling less than motivated, the others are there to give that nudge or bit of advice or a good hard shaking to get you going again.

I'd love to join the Beserkers for real, Phil. You guys are fun to be around, supportive and genuinely real people... you're also serious about being the best you can be. I like that.

Yes, we should cleanse ourselves of any and all irrational fear.

Being alone is fearful for many. That harks back to our ancestors. When a person was ostracised – for whatever reasons – it often meant death to them. They'd have no social structure to uphold them. No support. No food. No way of sustaining themselves. And being a foreigner (back then) was dangerous. They were less likely to find help from neighbouring tribes. Isolation can still activate that ancient, primal fear.

Like the fighting advice. Krav Maga teaches to go for the soft parts to end the fight quickly. Nice, brutal, effective. Just like you :)
