Healthy Breakfast - Green Smoothie Recipe for Weight loss. How to make Rambutant Spinach Smoothie. Losing weight can be a challenge and finding a tasty diet recipe is even harder. I have created these healthy smoothie recipes to help you lose weight and stay in shape. This is a a really easy and very healthy recipe available for everyone. They are perfect for dairy-free, clean, vegetarian, gluten-free, raw diet and Paleo-friendly diets. This is a green smoothie recipe, that looks and tastes incredible. Healthy smoothies are quite filling too and can make a good meal replacement, particularly if you’re having smaller more regular meals for weight loss. They are delicious and nutritious, each smoothy only containing between 250 - 350 calories. Pour into cups and drink immediately for a delicious, healthy and energizing drink. This recipe serves 2 people.

This healthy smoothie features rambutans and spinach, both of which are famous for their vitamin C content. One of the most important roles of vitamin C is to help keep your skin and veins strong and healthy by providing antioxidant protection and increasing production of collagen and elastin. The rambutan fruit is very exotic fruits. Its very rich in vitamin C, increases your immune system and helps with digestion.Antioxidants found in fruits can help to prevent the free radical damage associated with the development of cancer. Rambutans also provide a hearty helping of copper and manganese, while spinach in this smoothie ensures you'll also be getting plenty of carotenoids, vitamin K, B vitamins (including folate), calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium. Pineapple is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Fiber and a very good source of Vitamin C and Manganese.

Ingredients

10 fresh rambutans or you can used canned ones
1 small banana
1 cup fresh spinach
1cup of fresh pineapple
1 passion fruit
½ cup crushed ice

Optional Ingredients:
Then add any of your favourite superfoods to the mix if you like!
-1 heaped tbsp chia seeds
1 heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder
½ tsp acai powder
1 heaped tsp maca

Directions

Step 1 : Place your rambutans and pineapple into the blender. Blend until smooth

Step 2: Add your banana,passion fruit and spinach with ice and blend again until smooth. Enjoy.

This is the first time I'm encountering rambutan for smoothie. Can you taste the spinach in the smoothie? I am looking for ways to sneak in veggies so my little ones can have their greens and other colors.
