Me and my wife would let our one year old watch ABC nursery rhymes everyday. I believe that learning with visuals is good for a child. I even let him watch Colors Nursery rhymes.
I agree with you. My son has a photographic memory and he amazes me a lot when he learns something new. In fact, we just started doing this reading on TV 4 days ago, and he knew how to read some words already. So, it really depends on how we monitor our child. But always remember, any thing we do excessively may have a negative effect on the child. Just a friendly reminder. :)
Me too, it excites me when he learns something new and I also agree with you, everything that is excessive have a negative on the child so we have to be careful not to burn them out.
