Yes the GoPros are waterproof. The first time you submerge it though, it's a strange feeling pushing an electrical item under water!

I would be wondering if it wont blow up or get spoiled lol, the first time I submerge it in water well we have amazing water here in Africa maybe someday you'd come with @osmosis
