Everyday I rise from my bed,
God be praised for giving me that that daily bread.
Thinking back, last year, one helper left me stunned,
Remembering now, a stranger I don't know gave me funds.
We had an encounter that moved my life from shame to grace,
Gratitude - thank you stranger, an angel brought you to my birthplace.

Everyday I record a successful destination,
God be praised for guiding my steps from fatal collision.
Many followed my way but never came back,
Death snatched their breathe; men, women, children all mourned in black.
What is my soul? Just existing in a world of strife,
Gratitude - Thanks to the heavens, an angel saved my life.

Everyday life's troubles are challenging,
God be praised for helping me in ways that are dazzling.
Distress found in this cursed world weigh me down,
Friends made online and offline gave me hope that became my playground.
Hallelujah - I am now a conquerer,
Gratitude - Thanks to everyone I've learnt not to waver.
