Un Canto para Caracas
This is a "Central Joropo", it means a *joropo* from the central area of Venezuela: Aragua state, Miranda state, and Caracas, the capital city. The arrangement I made is in a modern "cañonero" style. Although there are many discusions about the name of this kind of music, it's called also "Golpe tuyero" and "Golpe mirandino".
This song, wich title means " A song for Caracas" is part of the album "Esta es Caracas" (This is Caracas), by Los Cañoneros, the group I lead since 1982.
Este es un "joropo central", lo cual indica que es un joropo de la zona central de Venezuela, que incluye el estado Aragua, Miranda y la capital del país, Caracas. A pesar de que hay mucha discusión respecto al nombre de esta forma musical, también se le llama "golpe tuyero" o "Golpe mirandino".
El arreglo lo hice con un estilo "cañonero moderno". Esta canción "Un canto para Caracas" forma parte del disco "Esta es Caracas", de Los Cañoneros, grupo que dirijo desde 1982.

No, cada instrumento lo tocan los distintos integrantes del grupo. Eso me dio la idea de agregar la lista de los músicos al post, ya lo voy a hacer para darle sus respectivos créditos.
