my dsound 46 / SPECIAL EDITION / JAZZ / @stickchumpion and @vachemorte
Ok this is different today because I received a message from my bro @stickchumpion this Sunday morning. Challenging me, inviting me, calling me out, to do something with a series of chords he wanted me to play with.
You can read his post here. He had a backing track ready to go for me to jam on but as he explained, this is open to anyone that wants to jam with him as well.
Next day and BANG!!!!! I have this little Jazzy progression to offer to you and him in the same time! I could have gone full blast UK Punk Rock style on this but I was pretty mellow this week-end so instead I came up with a slow and reflective arrangement.
To have this piece performed live with real instruments, 1 pianos, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, 1 english horn, 1 drum and 1 bass, with their respective musicians would be needed.

Dude that was awesome , the only bad thing is I wanna do another but will put more effort into the next one make it pop . I only have one favour to ask and that is can I use this in the skatevids I make , if so that would be rad . Thanks for the quick collab
Yeah bro I read you wanted to have skate music in your post so it was already agreed :)
No need to rush out my new assignment yet because I am a bit busy at the studio. My pleasure as always and talk to you soon.
It's got like a smokey back room, 30's gangster sort of vibe to it, super dope! Lot's of space yet very textural. The piano really brings you back down at the end. I could definitely hear this performed live.
Yo Brother I hope you are doing well. I really enjoyed your npr tiny desk project this week. Thanks for listening :) Yes I started to write down the instruments that are needed to play each pieces because I am afraid in the future I might forget...PEACE
Nice one @vachemorte, You have been rather busy.
The usual :) I compose a little something everyday usually, that was my sunday afternoon jam.
very nice music!
Thank you bishop!
bless you.
