@d-vine asked us to create an original vocal lyric for her original instrumental inspired by her adorable pup Interstella Ella. She specified that the track need not be about her ever so loved Canine companion but that the
lyric's Interstella Ella be added.
D-Vine sent me a twitter here recently asking if I would like to enter her contest. @d-vine, myself and @wav-Dr just dropped a collaboration track called "Lonely Road" and are currently working on another original collaborative sound piece. I have an incredibly full load with music projects and a bouncing home life so I was unsure I would be able to get to the contest in time. I ran over and gave the track a listen and was so taken in by the groove and the lyric "Interstella Ella" I had something flowing out before the first listen ended. I downloaded the track off Dsound and loaded it straight into my Sonar X1 Studio. I layed 3 original vocal layers with original lyrics including the lyric Interstella Ella, making that the main focus and hook. I packaged all 3 original vocal stems up for @d-vine and both a rough mix and rough idea master of the track through my good friends at LandR.

The instrumental is groovy, laid back and sexy and I wanted to bring something sultry and fun to the track to really bring the mood in. Huge thanks to @d-vine for the inspiration and congrates on a fantastic instrumental.
