I'm not going to lie, I was incredibly skeptical going into this one. Taking such a classic like Shook Ones into Techno territory is a risky move. For the most part, it works. Your drums sound great in it and the Mobb Deep sample anchors this whole thing together really nicely. What I would like to see in it is some more clarity in the mix when the synths come in, as the low end starts to sound muddy. Other than that, there are great ideas here and I'm really interested in hearing what comes next.
