The Lucky Ones

This is a track of the album "Your Time Is Now", which was released in January 2014. It is about envy. In my story it appears as a person, who is a true companion of the successful and wealthy people - "The Lucky Ones". I also wrote a German version of the song, that I will most probably release in the near future.

Loyal and true he was, in my young days
When popularity was no stranger to me
The times on the sunny side, tender embrace
One of his best friends is called prosperity
Sometimes I didn’t seem to realize his presence
Quite often he appeared in close proximity
You cannot say that he was conspicuous by his absence
