Recorded September 10, 2018, "Taking Flight" starts with mostly soprano baroque recorder simulating bird calls followed by a deep bass sequence, drums and percussion driving the piece upward and violin creating melodic phrases uplifting yet soothing. The active rhythm and uplifting melody also makes it appropriate for the work and productivity category of the Ambience: The Steemit Music Experience contest.
